This is the worst ever. I think I have a terrible timetable, and Jos agrees with me. First, I have a 5-hour break EVERY Monday, now I've got to wait from 11am to 3pm. That's a 4-hour break yo. I don't think school can get any worse...Christabel, Fan and I were supposed to go play L4D but......turns out her practical delayed for 2 hours so we didn't get enough time, so we didn't play!

I found out that people tend to bond in the weirdest situations. Just when you don't suspect, or expect, anything.
To be honest, sometimes I'm really glad I get the chances I get in life.
I guess it pays to be open-minded and technically, open to anything new that may come your way.

Even though I'm here in Hong Kong missing everyone back home and wishing they were here with me,
I'm happy to know that my trip here was worth the while.

Catching up with old friends, making new ones, and really bonding through things I never expected,
this trip to Hong Kong hasn't been wasted.

It has become meaningful.

Hong Kong's been good to me, so far. Of course, the food here rocks. They're good for what they have - roast goose maybe?? I love that! But we've only ate it once, and I forgot to take a picture! Today we went for a seminar by famous director Oliver Stone. That was quite interesting, but the topics were somewhat too political for us to mention in our articles. Nevertheless, it was different hearing him talk about American politics and about his history with George W. Bush. We're definitely planning to watch his latest movie, W, here in Hong Kong. I'm quite sure Singapore probably won't have it shown there for quite awhile. We need information for our articles anyway...great excuse, no?


Anyway, I thought I'd just mention that the first thing I ate when I got to Hong Kong, was 雞蛋仔. YUMMY!!!

Simone is really good at posting short, SHORT entries, which I suck at terribly. I admit, I'm jealous.

I just read Jos' blog, and well, firstly I never even knew she had a blog. And I never knew she could write like that...I guess keeping a blog really helps other people see who you really are, and how good you are for that matter. Everyone seems to sound so much more profound on their blogs, no?

It sucks when you're there, but not really. I don't think I'm making much sense, but just know that I'll be missing someone so, so much I think I might just faint and die. It's that simple...I'll literally be missing the person. I think I'm exaggerating a little, but this is what being emo is about.

She wrote the song after breaking up with Joe Jonas. That was the only reason why I have the song...and to my surprise, it's really good. Not the Joe Jonas-breaking up part.....but just the song itself. Anyhow, I seem to be so much more open to new female singers - Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Vanessa Hudgens (Especially after having that dream about Zac Efron, when Vanessa appeared in the dream too and was so nice to me) and even Aly & AJ's songs are quite alright no?

Well, today I watched the Japanese movie, K20. I didn't know there was such a movie till today...and I was kinda forced to watch it. Well.......I wouldn't say (or admit) it's a good movie, for financial reasons, but I guess it was quite interesting. A little dumb, but the last part sorta saved it slightly. Farewell dinner on Saturday........NO!! But before that, L4D tomorrow!! Whoo! Zombies here I come!

The exams are over, FINALLY. Even though I only had 2 exams this semester, it still seemed like forever!

To celebrate the newfound freedom, I met with Christabel after the exam and my HK briefing. We met in town and were planning to watch Slumdog Millionaire with Perry & Josceline. But the girl at the ticketing counter said we needed to show 4 student passes to get the student price so we decided to buy 2 tickets only. Our original choice of seats were 4 right at the end of a row in the centre block of seats. So we thought by buying the 2 middle seats, no two other individuals (replacement word for i***t) would get single seats next to us. We were wrong alright!! There really were two people who bought the seats, forcing us to get 4 seats right at the far side of the theatre.

Nevertheless, I honestly didn't expect the movie to be so great. The sound was really good, no wonder they won so many Oscars for it. Then the whole story was great - the concept was really very original, and filmed well. If only I could take part in something so successful....I can only dream now! :) So after the movie, Jos and Perry left for mass while Belle and I shopped around in town. I couldn't find anything suitable, so I only bought my (very late) monthly dose of Japan's SEVENTEEN from Kinokuniya.

Once Rebecca came, we went to Far East for dinner at Pasta Mania. Of course, much girl talk was involved. I'd say today consisted of good bitching, and bad bitching. There's difference you know! Just like how we girls have got a categorization for the type of guys around. It's really fun to engage in good bitching about the boys we know!

Then when Becks headed home, Belle and I went to Prata House @ Thompson to meet Joshua, Jerome, Joachim and Perry! We didn't get to chat too much, but at least I found out new stuff! And got to say more than 5 sentences to Joachim. Hmmmm.......then the usual Facebook poker game with Jerome, and not without my lucky star, Joshy! Won lots of money (as usual with Josh around), so I stopped playing after Jerome's computer crashed for the HUNDREDTH time and he kept disconnecting!! And well....Jerome and I talked about the dreams we have. Terrible, shouldn't have started it. Then we discuss....well, about fish. Let's leave it at that, shall we? :)
